Our second call for project proposals is approaching. The call is open from 15 March until 9 June 2023. Are you planning to prepare a project application? Here are six things you can do right away to help you get started – and one bonus reminder.

#1: Start with the basics - get to know us

Thinking about your first Interreg Europe project? Great! Have a look at our series of brief intro videos and get a better sense of our programme, projects and the Policy Learning Platform

Are you already familiar with our programme? Jump to the next tip.

#2: Dive deeper into the topics we cover

Interreg Europe contributes to all EU priorities and supports better regional governance through capacity building. We introduced all six topics we work on in a series of thematic networking events in November and December.

Have a look at the session recordings for a re-cap: hear more about the policy objectives and the EU context, see what kind of activities fit under each topic in Interreg Europe’s framework, and draw inspiration for your own activities:

#3: Explore and share project ideas

Are you looking for cooperation partners? Would you like to join a project? Have a look at project ideas shared by others. We have an entire section of the website dedicated to project ideas and bringing people together.

Or do you have your own project idea? Share it and let others know about it. Make use of the time left before the call opens to build your partnership.

Additional project ideas were shared also during our networking events. Have a look at our networking tables below and see if you spot some ideas that match your interests.

#4: Stand out from the crowd – update your profile

Are you already a member of our community? If not, create an account now – it’ll open up access to new connections and full use of our resources.

If you already have an account, is it up to date? Take a couple of minutes to share information about your interests and profile. It will increase your chances of finding relevant contacts or potential cooperation partners. You will also get tailored content and contact suggestions

Follow a few simple steps to update your profile

#5: Give our online tools a try

Take a tour on the website and see what else is available. Speed up your project preparation and:

During the call, you will also be able to ask for feedback on your project proposal. The submission of the project application happens online as well. All the more reason to set up your profile now!

#6: Stay tuned for more

The application pack will be available in early 2023. Keep an eye on the call section of our website

In the meantime, take a look at our programme manual. It takes you through the key features of our programme, the eligibility criteria, project development, the application and selection process, project implementation, and much more.

+1: Get ready to cooperate!

Our annual event - ‘Europe, let’s cooperate! interregional cooperation forum’ – takes place on 15 March 2023 in Stockholm, Sweden.

After three online editions, it is finally time to meet in person again. The event marks the launch of the second call for project proposals. Join us to get inspired and informed. Hear the latest updates, get more tips, and discuss new cooperation opportunities with participants from all over Europe. You will also be able to book a meeting to get personal feedback on your project idea.

Registration is open. See more information and register on the #europecooperates website.
