2nd meeting of the Regional Stakeholder Group - Italy

On 29 February 2024, the 2nd meeting of the Regional Stakeholder Group took place at Palazzo Guerrieri in the Municipality of Brindisi. The meeting was attended by representatives of different organisations in the region, each focusing on activities related to migration.

The main objective of the 2nd Regional Stakeholder Group meeting was to promote collaboration and share innovative approaches within the Brindisi SIRM project. Throughout the event, the organisations involved focused on health and education, access to a dignified life and respect for the personal rights of each person.

Stakeholders attending the meeting presented their own commitment to providing support to migrants, while identifying relevant issues and challenges. The meeting concluded with an open discussion on the future update of the Local Social Plan (Piano Sociale di Zona), a strategic plan for the social and professional integration of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in Brindisi, as a policy instrument of the Municipality of Brindisi and links to best practices analysed in Croatia.
