RegioStars 2023: Final round (A Green Europe & A Europe closer to the citizens)

RegioStars is a competition organised by the European Commission (DG Regio) for EU-funded projects. The annual awards give recognition to innovative and inspiring projects across Europe. This year, you'll have a chance to meet the finalists and discover more about the projects at the European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels.
On 11 October (11:30-13:00 CET), a policy lab introduces finalists in the categories 'A green Europe' and 'A Europe closer to the citizens'. Among the finalists, you'll meet one Interreg Europe project: Green Screen.
Take part in the session to discover and discuss how cohesion policy projects contribute to a green and resilient Europe. Hear more about what kind of place-specific strategies are being developed to tackle varied local challenges. Come and see how the finalists of the RegioStars 2023 competition pitch their projects in front of the jury and the audience. These finalists' pitches are intended to select the most impactful projects. Who will be the winners?
As a participant, you will able to vote for your favourite and contribute the public vote that will ultimately select one of the winners that will awarded a RegioStars award at the award ceremony in Ostrava on 16 November.
The policy lab takes place in Brussels at SQUARE Brussels Meeting Centre (Mont des Arts, 1000 Brussels), Hall 100. Participation is possible only in person. Advance registration is required.
Registration is open. Don't wait too long to sign up for a spot, because places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Registration is open between 1 August and 30 September.
