This section provides information on the system set up for the control in Czech Republic for the 2021-2027 programming period.
Czech Republic uses a centralised control system. The Department of European Territorial Cooperation (CRD CR ETC Department) is responsible for performing control task for all Czech beneficiaries of Interreg Europe. There are three regional branches dedicated to performing controls of expenditure for Czech beneficiaries within the framework of Interreg Europe programme.
The control body
Centre for Regional Development of the Czech Republic (hereinafter referred to as “Centre”)
The Ministry of Regional Development will not charge costs for control for Czech partners involved in an Interreg Europe project.
Project partners that will report equipment and/or infrastructures and works related to pilot actions will be checked on the spot.
However additional on the spot checks or monitoring visits may be implemented by the controllers, based on the professional judgement of the control body.
