Decarbonisation of SME ports

1 Dec: Project ideas and networking discussions
Connected

SME ports play an important role in the implementation of the energy objectives of the EU: they produce energy, they consume energy, they store energy, and they distribute energy. Moreover, SME ports are confronted with the need to decarbonise their operations and activities. On the other hand, they are confronted with a huge number of technologies which are very expensive and not adapted to their needs. Therefore, it is relevant to exchange the existing knowledge and experiences in order to:
- reducing the environmental footprint
-improving the sustainability of port operational
and administration resources.
-promoting responsible growth and supporting
eco-innovation oriented development.
