Can we reduce carbon emissions in metropolitan areas by facilitating business development in edge cities? How can the metropolitan and municipal level work together to support low carbon economic development. Building on local resources, can we base economic development on renewable energy?
The following topics will be covered: implications, opportunities and challenges in transformation to a low carbon economy, small cities as laboratories, the attractiveness of edge cities for businesses and citizens.
