Large-scale solar thermal energy has a future

The event takes place at one of the largest solar thermal processing plants on the organic vegetable farm Kessler in Singen. The 8000m² of heated greenhouse are used for growing tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce and herbs.
In addition to a guided tour, there will be two lectures on solar thermal energy in heating networks and the current state of community energy in Baden-Württemberg. The event invites regional and local stakeholders from the renewable energy sector, community energy sector and civil people. The meeting will also be used to discuss solar thermal plants as a port of general heat transition. At the end of the event participants can be part of a task force of targeting solutions and approaches of solar thermal plants.
