Looking at what the project has achieved so far, the e-smartec Consortium gathered at the Link Campus University in Rome for a two days meeting.
The meeting kicked-off with a presentation of the local stakeholder's reactions and interests after the project Living Labs were held. With the aim of start creating visibility in the local community and start communicating the benefits of participation and engagement in the Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning, the activities were coordinated and disseminated by local partners during the first months of the project.
Region of Central Macedonia, West Midlands Region, Lazio Region, Bratislava Self-Governing Region, Venlo Region and the State of Hessen updated the Consortium on the status of their activities explaining their approach to school representatives, members of the regional authority, policymakers, the research community, small companies, and other regional representatives.
The meeting continued with an interactive discussion. By using a real-time feedback tool, project coordinator CERTH engaged participants in the collection of Good Practices of marketing techniques to involve citizens and stakeholders in the mobility planning process. Project partners shared their ideas regarding this project milestone.
The day concluded with a gaming session using the SUSTAIN board game for awareness-raising, an excellent opportunity to test partner's city management skills which brought some educative amusement to the meeting.
