Cultural routes and itineraries
Are you interested in learning about cultural routes? Register today for our webinar series to learn about digitalisation of heritage, how to revive cultural routes and how to inspire policy change.
Europe’s cultural and natural heritage is as rich and diverse as are its member states. It comprises natural, built and archaeological sites, museums, monuments, artworks, historic cities, literary and musical work, and is an important element of social life, as well as economic development. The recent COVID-19 pandemic substantially impacted access to heritage, leading to increased interest in sites that could be enjoyed outside or is accessible digitally.
This series of three consecutive webinars will look at two rapidly growing trends: heritage digitalisation and the revival of cultural routes. Each webinar will focus on a different aspect of cultural heritage and will allow you to discover examples from across Europe.
The first two episodes will focus on good practices and policy changes from Interreg Europe projects such as RAMSAT, Green Pilgrimage, MOMAr, INNOCASTLE, CHRISTA and KEEP-ON. The final episode will shine a light on the development of pilot actions through interregional cooperation.
