HERCULES lead partner receives IVY participation award
The Agencia Gallega de Conocimiento en Salud (ACIS), coordinating partners of the HERCULES project, has received an Honour for its participation in the IVY programme (Interreg Volunteer Youth), an initiative of the European Union in the framework of Interreg aimed at promoting youth volunteering in cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation projects.
The IVY programme, managed by the Association of European Border Regions (AEBR), enables young people aged 18-30 to actively participate in initiatives that promote regional development, innovation, sustainability and solidarity between regions in Europe.
Since joining the IVY programme, three volunteers have been received and have collaborated in various initiatives. One of them, Ana Sabina Sande, a graduate in Political Science and Administration, joined the HERCULES project in March and will conclude her participation at the end of June.
During her stay, Ana Sabina performs key tasks such as the development of publications, posters, social media posts, newsletters and other communication resources for the HERCULES project. She has also collaborated in the organisation of dissemination and awareness-raising activities, strengthening the visibility of the project both at local and European level.
The experience with the IVY programme has proven to be enriching both for the participating volunteers themselves and for us, generating a positive impact in terms of cooperation, mutual learning and exchange of good practices between European regions.
