On July 9, 2020, Coventry University Enterprises Ltd, one of the partners in the e-smartec Interreg European Project, hosted an online workshop aimed at training other Partners about the understanding and development of Action Plans.
The workshop started with a presentation showing key points behind an Action Plan and ways of drafting it in an efficient way. Each Action Plan is a result of Phase One of the Project and aligns objectives for the implementation phase, Phase Two of the Project.
During Phase One, each Partner Region has the objective of identifying existing issues and potential challenges and the opportunity to draw possible solutions from other Partners’ experiences (exchange of experience process). Constant dialogue with atakeholders and involvement with the other Regions is key to draft a consistent and relevant Action Plan. This will be then implemented and monitored in Phase Two of the Project by each Partner.
The actual Action Plan template that each Region will need to fill in was also discussed.
All Regions then presented their initial thinking around their own Action Plans, highlighting potential issues and targeting solutions. Regions turned up to be clearly at different stages in their line of thinking around which actions to implement and the reasons behind.
The workshop hosted by CUE was a good starting point in order to achieve a common understanding of best practices around Action Plans, potential issues and ideal solutions.
All attendees left with a better understanding of the requirements and a positive feedback.
