Study of historical outports in Agder up for debate

From September 2017 to January 2018 Vest-Agder County Council conducted a feasibility study of the historical outports of Agder with a particular focus on how to increase accessibility in these fragile cultural environments.
Through 2 events stakeholders from municipalities, universities, museum and private owners were mobilised in a discussion on the topic.
1st event:  
17 November 2017 representatives from four coastal municipalities and one county council attended the first meeting giving input on the different aspects to be mapped in the study:

2nd event:
27 February 2018 Vest-Agder County Council and Asplan Viak presented the results from the feasibility study and facilitated a workshop on how to increase accessibility to and stimulate value creation in the historical outports. 5 round tables were organised with between 5- 7 persons at each table discussing more specific topics.
The meeting had a total of 25 stakeholders representatives and 4 staff persons present. The stakeholders represented both volunteer associations, private owners, SMB, museums, municipalities and county councils.
The results from the workshop will feed into the actions to be included in the action plan for Vest-Agder County Council. The action plan will be made available towards the end of semester 5.
