In Rome the second Exchange of Experience for EMBRACER!

Two days in Rome, Italy, for discussing the “Current trends, emerging solutions & societal impacts in last-mile passenger travel” with the second Exchange of Experience event of the EMBRACER project, organised by TTS Italia and the Metropolitan City of Cagliari.

On 6 December a thematic seminar will be held on “Connecting cities and underserved communities: solutions, barriers and enabling conditions”. The topic discussed will be how to  strengthen and improve mobility between urban and rural areas along with  related projects, challenges, and policies. This will of course involve a dialogue on actions and solutions for a sustainable mobility.  
A study visit at Rome Mobility Control Centre will be held as well.

The day of 7 December will analyse and discuss “Connecting cities and underserved communities: governance approaches, technical challenges and policy changes to enable integration of informal modes” with a dedicated capacity building workshop. An overview of mobility services and Rural MaaS will be included as well as a discussion on  how to achieve modal shift?
