Region of East Macedonia and Thrace, Greece, is organizing the 5th Interregional Partner meeting of the CircPro project in the framework of the INTERREG EUROPE 2014-2020 Programme, on Thursday 19th of November 2020 via video-conference (zoom platform) from 9.00am to 15.00pm CET.
The theme of the meeting is Energy savings in Public Authorities with Circular Procurement and the objective is to enable the interregional exchange of experiences and learning process among stakeholders of the participating regions. The meeting will host a policy panel regarding the relevant circular economy and green public procurement policies of Greece, energy savings procurement models and the discussion with the Urban Agenda on Innovative and Responsible Public Procurement. Stakeholders from the participating regions will present cases and examples of procurement models and selection criteria for projects/investments regarding public lighting savings, district heating cooperation and reuse models and centralized tendering procedures for environmental protection among other.
