Inclusive and continuous open discovery process for S3 governance

On 17 and 18 October 2023, the Policy Learning Platform is hosting a peer review together with the Päjät-Häme, Finland, on the topic of inclusive and continuous open discovery process for S3 governance.

The regional council of Päjät-Häme is aiming to adopt a new approach in the implementation of their Smart Specialisation Strategy. Therefore, the Council wants to identify organisations that have set up flexible and open ways of governing themselves, using an ecosystem approach, to encourage an inclusive and ongoing process of open discovery.

The peer review will focus on the following aspects: 

• How to design an inclusive and continuous governance arrangement based on an ecosystem-approach
• How to promote collaborative approaches and multi-actor projects around a common vision for the future

The event is by invite only. The key learnings and recommendations will be published afterward.
