Join the Policy Learning Platform team on Wednesday, 14 October from 14:30 to 15:30 CEST for a Q&A session on E-buses: from procurement to deployment.
With this session we will bring into the spotlight the transition to sustainable public transport and the challenges to be tackled, from the public procurement to the deployment phase.
Public procurement offers policymakers an innovative policy tool solving ‘grand challenges’ like transitioning to zero-emission transport systems. However, transitioning to e-buses, requires rethinking the whole bus operation. European cities that are planning to renew their bus fleets, or that are developing their first bus system, are particularly well positioned to procure for e-buses.
We have designed a Q&A session in a way to provide thematic frame but also allow enough time for discussion around the subject.
Stay tuned for updates and get ready to register and join us virtually (registration is open 27 August - 27 September!
