Sixth and last Peer Review for the project!
Last week our project partners gathered in Valencia for the last Peer Review Visit, focused on the theme of “Stakeholder Consultation.”
This visit, in addition to being the last of a series of six, also marked the end of our learning journey, aimed at providing the partners with new knowledge and experiences to improve their policy instruments and enhance citizen participation in biodiversity governance.
As always, this Peer Review followed the same structure as the previous ones, with activities spread over three days.
The first one started with a masterclass, featuring several good practices that provided the partnership with inspiring examples of sustainable mobility, environmental education for schoolchildren, citizen participation in the conservation of wetlands, and more.
Two additional good practices were presented by UrbanCOOP and Riwet, from the Interreg community.
A stakeholder workshop following the World Café methodology and a final sharing session concluded the first day.
The second one was dedicated to study visits, which took place in the Natural Park of L’Albufera, where the project partners learnt about its history, rice cultivation, the damage caused by Dana’s flood, volunteering activities, and more.
They also experienced an amazing boat trip, offering our partners the chance to experience nature in a relaxed way and in beautiful weather.

The third day was dedicated to the masterclass and study visit evaluation, discussions on policy improvement and communication activities.
The final report will be created and uploaded to our project library. Stay tuned for more!
