2nd Stakeholder Meeting in Nicosia, Cyprus
A diverse range of local organizations, including representatives from the Managing Authority (MA), local authorities, businesses, civil society associations, NGOs, and universities was brought together to contribute to the CIBUS project’s actions, during the 2nd Stakeholder Meeting of the CIBUS project held in Nicosia on 27 March 2025. That event took place in parallel to the Latsia-Geri Municipality Local Stakeholder Group Meeting for Strategic Municipal Planning.
The CIBUS project’s developments were firstly presented, especially in relation with the contents of the PPs regional context analysis, followed by an engaging discussion on food loss and waste local initiatives that could serve as Good Practices.
The discussion was structured once again around the project’s defined four main stages of the food supply chain:
- Food Production & Manufacturing
- Distribution & Transportation
- Retail & Markets
- Consumers & Socio-Economic Factors
The outcomes of the meeting’s discussions were further analysed and incorporated into the final version of the Cypriot preparatory module for interregional exchange, that was presented officially to the CIBUS Partners.
