Sustainability Days

The first edition of Sustainability Days dedicated to discussing the sustainable development of rural Europe takes place in on 6-9 September 2022 in Bolzano, Italy.

The aim of the Sustainability Days is to create a platform for exchange between politics, science, business, associations and civil society. The event also seeks to make sustainable development accessible to a broad audience, especially the youth. The conclusions will be summarised in a recommendation paper to support future policy decisions.

The event is hosted by South Tyrol Region. The European Committee of the Regions is a partner of the event. 

Topics discussed during the Sustainability Days include: 

• Renewable energy and energy efficiency
• Agriculture and food
• Sustainable mobility
• Resilient rural habitats
