MOOC: Regions, EU Institutions and Policy-Making

The European Committee of the Regions' open online course (or MOOC: Massive Open Online Course), an e-learning resource for officials of regional and local authorities, representatives of associations and others interested, is now open.

The course "Regions, EU institutions and policy-making" available on Iversity online learning platform as of 19 October 2015, is free of charge and covers topics from EU Cohesion Policy and Smart Specialisation to migration and access to EU programmes, and much more.

The course consists of videos, factsheets, live discussions with experts webstreamed from the European Committee of the Regions, and infographics and suggestions for further reading. The course is open to everyone interested in the EU and regional affairs, but is designed particularly for those who work on EU affairs at local level, for example in the context of EU programmes or projects. 

 As part of this online course, a weekly discussion with experts from other EU institutions will be organised and webstreamed from the Committee in Brussels. The course participants can send questions to discussants to [email protected] and/or on Twitter @EU_MOOC.
