The Agency for Territorial Cohesion in Italy organises a European Cooperation Day on 21 September 2017 in Rome.
During this day, people from central and regional administrations in Italy and stakeholders of international relevance will engage in a debate on the themes and priorities of ongoing interregional, transnational and cross-border cooperation programmes. The participants will focus specifically on mainstreaming, Mediterranean policies, macro-regional strategies and the post-2020 programming period.
The European Cooperation Day, established in 2012, involves more than 40 countries from the European Union and the neighbourhood working together in territorial cooperation programmes. In more than 25 years of their implementation, the programmes have had significant impact in each territory, eliminating borders and reducing disparities between the regions of Europe.
