Control system

This section provides information on the system set up for control in Greece for the 2021-2027 programming period. 

The control system

Greece uses a centralised control system.

Projects partners are requested to submit their claim and all supporting documents 10 days after at the end of reporting period.

The costs

The Ministry of Economy and Finance will not charge costs for control.

On-the-spot checks

At least one "on-the-spot check" will be carried out during the project lifetime in projects where partners report equipment and/ or infrastructure & works costs related to a pilot action.

An on-the-spot check may also be carried out if risks are identified by the control body.
