Deeptech Matching

About this good practice
For a deeptech start-up project to succeed, it is essential to combine scientific excellence with business skills. To make it easier for these two worlds to come together, Deeptech Matching has been launched. The target group? Researchers who have a project to create a start-up but don't want to get involved as founders, as well as project founders looking for a co-founder to support the development of their company.
How does it work?
- A team of experts is dedicated to sourcing skills and qualifying needs from researchers and managers.
- A dedicated job board, called "Matching Zone", is set up to help startups get in touch with profiles looking for opportunities.
- Researchers benefit from comprehensive, personalised matchmaking support to build strong management teams within deeptech startups.
Deeptech Matching is part of the Parcours Deeptech program, supported by SATT Ouest Valorisation, Atlanpole, Angers Technopole, Le Mans Innovation and Laval Mayenne Technopole.

Evidence of success
Since the programme was launched, 67 entrepreneurs have been supported, whether in terms of training, recruitment, finding associates or internal human resources support.
Potential for learning or transfer
The benefits for researchers are numerous. Time and costs involved in recruiting their teams (CEO, partners, employees) are optimised because they have access to qualified profiles. The development of their deeptech start-up is secured because the Deeptech Matching programme has enabled them to put together solid teams, while considering the stage of maturity of your project.
