Interregional Abcities event

Sunrise Valley Science and Technology Park, in cooperation with Mykolas Riomeris University, are organizing a political event, gathering stakeholders to discuss the implementation of ABCities Action Plan in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The event aims to discuss how business, place and society interact and thus create value added for both the city and each other. The event will also address why and how such cooperation should be supported and whether the proposed measures are adequate in today’s context, including pandemics.

The agenda foresees presenting ABCities Action plan, opportunities provided by national support schemes for neighbourhoods as well as entrepreneurial incentives of local communities. Discussions will be followed by two case studies – Vilnius Central station area and Naugarduko str., updating on the progress of infrastructure changes to welcome more businesses in the area.
To finalise, we invite all stakeholders to discuss how to better enable communities to change public spaces for the benefit of everyone involved.
