CLUSTERS3 kick-off meeting in Bilbao

During the first two days of the meeting the partners exchanged their experiences on clusters, cluster policies and RIS3 strategies. The partners had also the possibility of discussing their expectations and contribution to the project. All the partners stressed the importance of interregional learning in the context of improving cluster policies.
The last day of the kick-off meeting was dedicated to Open Conference. Open Conference took place in Bilbao Exhibition Center during Bilbao International Machine-Tool Exhibition. The project partners participated actively in a panel discussion on how to enhance cluster policies and how to integrate it into RIS3.
The kick-off meeting included also study visits in: AIC Automotive Intelligence Center, CIC bioGUNE (Center for Cooperative Research in Biosciences) and Advanced Manufacturing Cluster.
In their adventure with cluster policy issues the partners receive support from TCI Network (Advisory Partner) and Orkestra - Basque Institute of Competitiveness.
