Thematic Workshop on circular economy

A thematic workshop brought to you by the Policy Learning Platform on Environment and Resource Efficiency

For the first meeting of the thematic community of regional practitioners working on circular economy, we would like to bring you together to discuss the latest developments in the field, as well as to hold a brainstorm on what joint action could be beneficial for European stakeholders working on these issues.
The workshop will gather project partners, regions and managing authorities that:

• deal with policies targeting circular economy in the broader context of resource efficiency
• are interested in new trends, novel approaches and opportunities for transition from linear to circular economy
• are interested in addressing specific challenges related to e.g. promotion of industrial symbiosis, strengthening governance, improving bio-waste management, etc.
