Highlights from the “Reuse and Repair in Action” webinar
Reuse and Repair in Action!
During this engaging webinar, we explored the crucial role of reuse and repair in advancing sustainable practices, with a particular focus on large-scale events.
The session covered key policy developments such as the Right to Repair and the Directive on the Repair of Goods, examining how these frameworks are being implemented through the lens of the social economy.
Organised as part of the INTERREG MINEV project (“Waste minimisation in large events”), the webinar brought together practitioners and policymakers to exchange hands-on solutions for implementing reuse and repair systems—ranging from reusable catering infrastructure to innovative sharing platforms. The discussion also highlighted how cultural institutions and municipalities are contributing to sustainability transitions and fostering new opportunities for social entrepreneurship.
This webinar also marked the launch of the first episode in the ACR+ web series: "From Insight to Action: Behavioural Shifts for Circular Change".
