Circular Minds present at Circular Summit Fryslân 2025

The Circular Minds project was proudly presented at the Circular Summit Fryslân 2025, showcasing its innovative approach to developing mindset shifts within public procurement.

One of Circular Minds' early outputs, a tool to measure the integration of circular economy principles within tenders, was presented and then applied to 3 case studies from Leeuwarden, Haarlem, and Malta. Participants in the workshop admired the simplicity of the tool, and expressed desires to utilise it in the Netherlands, Belgium, Malta, and even Australia. Núria Cases i Sampere (Project Manager, ACR+) also presented the current landscape of public procurement legislation at EU level, and shared insights from the C-PRONE platform.

In closing, the audience was left with a holistic view of the state of EU-level circular procurement policies, as well as accessible tools that can accelerate the incorporation of circularity principles within their own procurement today.
