Through an open call for tenders, Interreg Europe has selected an experienced multilingual team of thematic and communication experts in a consortium of 9 companies led by INNO TSD. The platforms will facilitate continuous policy learning across EU by creating an Interreg Europe community of peers to better exploit the projects’ results and open up the programme to anyone interested. They will offer online and offline services to regional policy stakeholders for accessing a knowledge bank, networking and partnering opportunities, an Expert Helpdesk for policy advice and support for regional policy change.

Peter Heydebreck, Managing Director of INNO TSD and leader of the consortium: “We are delighted that our consortium has been selected to manage this challenging project.  We have put together a talented and diverse pool of European experts that I am sure will bring real value to the European regions that participate in the Interreg Europe programme.  All of the team look forward to working with the many project partners and sharing and capitalising on the best practices for the benefit of all.”

Interreg Europe policy learning platforms coordinator, Magdalini Anagnostou, is confident that this new service will be of great benefit to regional policymakers: “These platforms serve a noble cause because they offer demand-driven services to answer the real needs of the regions and stimulate re-use of the thematic knowledge and experience shared by practitioners across Europe.”

The platform experts will present their services during the European Week of Regions and Cities 2016.
