EU conference on regional lifelong learning policies

On 10 May 2023 from 9:30 to 17:30 CEST, the Lifelong Learning Platform together with COMORELP project partners is hosting a conference on Interregional cooperation for better lifelong learning policies. 

The event will take place in Brussels, and can also be joined online. 

Over 3 years, the COMORELP project worked on creating:

• Guidelines for the analysis of regional lifelong learning policies
• Benchmarking tool for regions to compare themselves
• Setup of an EU policy lab, facilitating regional cooperation
• Policy recommendations to increase inter-regional cooperation on lifelong learning policies.

The event will therefore focus on insightful project results and encourage European and regional stakeholders to exchange on education and training policies, and monitoring and evaluation systems.

What you can expect

During the conference you will hear from several inspiring regional practices of lifelong learning policies from 5 European regions: 

• Malopolska Region, Poland
• Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, France
• Emilia-Romagna Region, Italy
• Istanbul Region, Turkey
• Wales, United Kingdom 

In addition, Luc Schmerber, a Thematic Expert of the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform will give a presentation on the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform and how it functions as a space for interregional cooperation.
