Potential for learning or transfer
This GP has potential to be transferred into other regions because waste management is one of the key topics in environmental policies of at the EU level. Reuse and recycling/upcycling are at the top of the EU adopted waste management hierarchy, therefore the approach of establishing the network of similar reuse centres should be of interest for all EU regions, as it would contribute to waste reduction on one hand and generating the value added and preserving it in the local environment. Combining the concept of waste reuse centres with the concept of social entrepreneurship this can be good business model. Engaging different local stakeholders can improve the relationship in the community where the centres are located, thus contributing to well-being of the community where they are located.
