This is the good practice's implementation level. It can be national, regional or local.
About this good practice
The context of this good practise are defined by:
• Increasing of resourse extraction
• Increasing of raw material prices and high price volatility
• the lost of biodiversity
• Greenhouse gas emissions
• energy consume
• Avoid waste dumps
The market demands circularity in the construction of building:
*Zero waste in the work places.
*Building recycled products
*Products free of hazardous substances
Objectives:
*To do an efficient use of natural resources: > 10% of reusing in construction products
*To reduce a 50 % of industrial waste
*To reduce a 15 % the energy consume and a 20 % de CO2 emissions.
*Reuse of rain water
Main interested:
In a first level, the society, due to the decrease of the use of landfill and its ambiental impacts.
The construction and demolition projects, as they will see how their waste decrease.
A increase of the work of recycling companies.

Resources needed
Placo® employs a recycling project manager (engineer) and involve to several engineering departments and R+D, as well as the environmental departments of every factory.
Placo® use its own funding resources.

Evidence of success
The success of this project can be measured by the amount of managed waste and the number of buildings involved.
Potential for learning or transfer
This good practice exist in other regions of Europe with different and more expensive solutions. The results of R+D of this project, could decrease the cost of this action and to arrive to less developed countries.
