The meeting concentrated on introducing the partner regions, joint ways of work, discussing the project issues and expectations, agreeing in depth the tasks of the period till the end of the semester (30.9.2016), and also welcomed discussion on questions and anticipated challenges.
The focus was on the good practice themes and the good practice contributions, the innovation maps and the organisation of the regional stakeholder groups. Moreover, as it had been planned, partners presented some of their good practices, while the advisory team presented methodologies for the interregional working groups 1 and 2 (IWG1 and IWG2) and also the three thematic areas of the good practices.
The meeting was also an opportunity to experience some examples of good practices in Ljubljana that holds the title European Green Capital of 2016. As the project's focus is bioeconomy the visit of the new regional waste management center was more than welcomed by the participants that later had also the possibility to get the whole picture behind the title European green capital.
