The meeting discussed S3-focused Interreg projects.
Jouni Ponnikas from Regional Council of Kainuu participated in the meeting and made a presentation about how Bridges project will foster the implementation of RIS3 strategies in project partner regions. During the presentation he gave an overview of the Bridges project and the priorities of the partner regions. For example, via RIS3 and bio economy strategy Kainuu creates new and fosters existing bio economy business ecosystems.
Bridges project helps to speed up the triple helix co-operation in these business ecosystems and to strengthen regional economy.
