Expert opinion
This practice is an interesting example of how to increase the likelihood of R&D funding resulting in marketable products and services. It is a good illustration of cooperation between knowledge providers and businesses, with the former targeting industrial applications to ensure relevance, while relying on the latter for the market introduction. Its transferability should be high, provided there are committed R&D actors and companies.
