KEZDI LACTO COOP MILK PROCESSING FACTORY, SEKUISC FAIR

About this good practice
The idea of building a milk processing factory in the Târgu Secuiesc area appeared as a result of the need to valorize the milk produced in the small farms in the area, against the refusal of the big processors to purchase the milk of these producers.
Through the association of small milk producers in the area, the Kézdi Lacto Agricultural Cooperative was established, allowing it to apply for non-refundable European funding through which a modern milk processing factory was built in Târgu Secuiesc, with a processing capacity of 35,000 l/day.
The factory has implemented digital ERP systems through which all the basic activities of the company are managed, from the supply of raw materials and auxiliary materials, the production process and the distribution and sale of products obtained. This ensures, through modern, digitized solutions, the traceability of products, the automation of production processes and the use of digital applications for business management and interaction with the company's customers.
The facilities offered by the milk processing factory are in the benefit of the farmers from the entire area who will be able to sell their milk produced on their farms in this way, thus guaranteeing the valorization of their work and creating the premises for the development of their small businesses, the stability of the jobs generated by them and ensuring a sustainable and sustainable development of the entire area.
