About the project
This project aims to reduce the digital divide in rural areas by co-developing and deploying methodologies rather than just tools. Using a Living Lab approach, we engage local communities to design, test, and refine digital solutions that can be replicated and scaled.
We focus on building digital commons, expanding knowledge bases, and strengthening open-source software foundations, particularly for mobile applications and decentralized infrastructures like mesh networks. By iterating and adapting solutions across different rural contexts, we ensure long-term scalability and sustainability.
Seeking partners to co-develop methodologies, test solutions in rural territories, and contribute to the growth of shared digital resources.
Partners we are looking for
We are looking for partners in the Spanish Pyrenees (POCTEFA) but are also open to other regions focused on underserved areas.
We seek municipalities, research groups, and innovation hubs working on digital inclusion, smart rural territories, and community-driven digital commons. Other stakeholders are also welcome for discussions.
