About the project
The progressive reduction in the use of paper in public administrations and companies creates problems for people without digital skills when it comes to carrying out essential procedures such as paying taxes. The imposition of online banking for most customers coupled with the progressive closure of banking offices in small municipalities create serious problems of financial exclusion.
The project aims to promote the exchange of experiences and good practices between European countries on how to find the balance between digitization and financial inclusion by offering accessible and innovative alternatives for those without digital training in small municipalities affected by depopulation and at risk of financial exclusion, and improving the policy instruments concerned.
