About the organisation
Lower Silesia is one the most developed regions in Poland, located at the tripoint of Poland - Germany (Saxony) - the Czech Republic. Regional authorities are experienced in carrying out Interreg projects (cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation) in various fields such as cooperation between business and science, development of entrepreneurship, energy efficiency, circular economy, sustainable use of natural resources and regional heritage, mobility related to location at the European transport corridor, social innovation. At the operational level the process is coordinated by the Marshal’s Office of Lower Silesia, which is a regional public authority responsible for conducting regional policies, such as strategies and programmes, in the Lower Silesia Region.
