DEX Innovation Centre

DEX Innovation Centre (DEX IC) is a private non-profit innovation centre.

DEXIC´s mission is defined through 4 complementary approaches:
- FUNDRAISE for impactful innovation research.
- CO-CREATE innovations. The aim is to support the delivery of impactful innovation, which fits customer needs (solving a pain or creating again). DEXIC uses different approaches: from User-Centered Design, User Acceptance Testing to Piloting and Exploitation. 
- BUILD start-ups. DEXIC focuses on technological teams or early-stage start-ups. We scale them up to make them investable. We developed our own curricula for the acceleration program that is being used in DEXIC Accelerator, 4DigitalHealth Accelerator
- EDUCATE  to empower students with knowledge and skills to be so-called “Generation Ready”

DEX IC work in the field of Health, Energy, ICT, transportation, and innovation. DEX IC can capitalize on its experience from the implementation of different projects involved, where we have co-created more than 10 innovations, which led to the delivery of 30+ innovative products.  

DEX IC is part of the EIT Health and EIT InnoEnergy hub network. From 2020, we also act as EIT Health BridgeHead CATalyser in the Czech Republic. 

Our biggest aim is to co-create: 
i) Enabling a knowledge ecosystem fostering disruptive innovations and;
ii) Directly disruptive innovation and excellent research. 

DEX IC has also a rich track record in Quadruple helix models and its implementation at territorial, policy as well as inside of innovative SMEs thanks to participation in HoCare (Interreg Europe), HoCare 2.0. (Interreg Central Europe) and SMART4MD (H2020). Thanks to above mentioned thematic competence DEX IC has built good access ways to quadruple helix representatives in the Czech Republic
