Organisation provides environmental information and services, as well as hydrometeorological and climate information for the Latvian economy, society and national security. Organisation implements various projects financed by the European Union in the field of climate change, water management, geology and IT development. The projects have been implemented within the framework of cross-border cooperation programmes as well as other EU funding programmes.
