The Government of Navarra on board for WEEE reuse
The Department of Rural Development and Environment of the Government of Navarra continues to be a benchmark in the circular economy and, to this end, has recently renovated its rest area with reused waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
As part of the renovation of the staff rest area, a fridge and a microwave oven were purchased from Traperos de Emaus, a foundation with social and environmental aims dedicated to the collection and treatment of waste. They collect used electrical and electronic equipment from waste local entities, distributors and citizens and follow the waste hierarchy, trying to preferably prepare for reuse as much devices as possible to extend the life of products and put them again in the market.
In this way, the Government of Navarra is once again demonstrating its commitment to the circular economy.
