Gdansk awarded medal in Polish Recycling Capital program
The city of Gdansk was awarded with a recycling medal and certificate for participating in the “Electric Garbage” project. The award was received by Anna Wolodźko - Deputy Director of the Department of Public Utilities at the Gdansk City Hall. This is one of the elements of the nationwide gamification under the Polish Recycling Capital program.
The Polish Recycling Capital is a program dedicated to cities and institutions, in which nearly 80 local governments and more than 180 municipal institutions have participated. The main idea of the program is to increase the awareness of residents in the field of selective collection of electro-waste and circular economy.
