On May 24th 2025, the Targ Węglowy in Gdańsk came alive with eco-friendly energy as residents gathered for the annual Clean City Festival. The event celebrated the city's growing commitment ti sustainability and gave attendees hands-on ways to engage with green initiatives - including the red containers for small e-waste.

These containers offer a safe and easy way to dispose of used electronics such as phones, chargers, hair dryers, and toasters. With over 100 locations across Gdańsk, proper e-waste recycling is now within easy reach.

Residents had the opportunity to donate unwanted or unused electronic devices to the red container. Many did - and also stopped by the nearby stand to learn how e-waste can be resposibly managed or even reused.

To find the nearest red container, visit the map at the Clean City Gdańsk website: https://czystemiasto.gdansk.pl/dla-mieszkancow/mapa-pojemnikow-na-elektroodpady/

Events like this show how small actions can lead to a cleaner, greener Gdańsk.
