2nd Local Stakeholder Seminar in Navarra

The Regional Government of Navarra organized its 2nd stakeholder seminar on November 27th 2023. The seminar was attended by several local waste entities, companies working on e-waste, e-waste producers and Technological Centre Lurederra.

The seminar consisted of a visit to the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment plant, ECOINTEGRA, which began its activity in 2007, progressively expanding its activity. Today, ECOINTEGRA is authorized to treat main categories of WEEE, which include large appliances, small appliances and others.

The visit was followed by a presentation on the WEEEWaste project by the Regional Government of Navarra. Technology Centre Lurederra also held a presentation on a study to be carried out about the situation in Navarre of e-waste and its waste in relation to critical raw materials.

Afterwards, a discussion took place about the WEEE problems in Navarre and proposal of future lines of work. Towards the end of the seminar, Navarre held a presentation regarding studies on the carbon footprint of waste in Navarra.
