Monastery of Waldsassen as a flourishing cultural, educational and economic centre with various pillars

A dilapidated church is coming back to life thanks to the work of a local association dedicating time and resources to its repair and use for cultural purposes.

The monastery complex (the Poor Clares Monastery, the Minorite Monastery) hosting exhibitions, concerts, workshops, craftsmen and secondary school activities.

The site of a former monastery used as a cultural centre, which has transformed a small town into an interesting tourist destination.

This is an annual spiritual cultural event held in Christian churches, where everyone is invited to learn about cultural and spiritual values.

The church was built in 1567, but was blown up in 1954. The ruins of the church were demolished, leaving only the tower, which was restored in 2010.
