Metropolitan City of Genova

The Metropolitan City of Genoa comprises 67 municipalities and has a population of over 817,000 inhabitants. Established in 2015 following the reform of the provinces, our administration serves as a bridge between smaller municipalities and larger urban centers, with the institutional mission of ensuring coordinated and integrated development across the metropolitan area. Our key areas of focus include strategic planning, sustainable mobility and environmental protection.
