PMG 5 AND STUDY VISIT, 12- 13. 03. 2025, KRANJ, SLOVENIA

5th PMG meeting and study visit were hosted by our partners from BSC, Business Support Center, Ltd, Kranj - Regional Development Agency of Gorenjska.

Morning sessions on 12and 13 March, partners had a project meeting to discuss project implementation and more specifically Policy Improvement Plans and Project Good Practices, progress reports preparation, as well as upcoming project events related to communication and dissemination.

Second half of the day on 13 March was dedicated to Study visit. Hosts showed us the installed charging infrastructure for city electric buses and we visited the bus depo where we saw the operational electric buses and got acquainted with the plans and strategy of Gorenjska region to electrify the public transport. Currently, there is a general support from the government for region’s ambitions. In order to do that, our Slovenian partners need to develop the initial studies and analyses, incl. cost-benefit analyses, market research, transport simulations and forecasts. Based on results, they will be able to apply for national and EU funding. Another proof for the benefit of the investment is the already implemented good practices by project partners related to public transport electrification and the results shared during project meetings and study visits.
