The 2nd Regional Stakeholder Group Meeting in Prešov

On 21 November 2023, the second meeting of the Regional Stakeholder Group took place at the Prešov Self-Government Office in Prešov, Slovakia. The event was attended by representatives of 6 relevant organisations and institutions working with refugees and migrants in the region.

The main objective of the 2nd Regional Stakeholder Meeting was to provide detailed information about the 1st Transnational Learning Meeting held in Rzeszów and the 2nd Transnational Learning Meeting held in Šibenik, Croatia.

Participating stakeholders received information on good practice examples from partners within the SIRM project consortium. Representatives of the regional stakeholder group, who had personally participated in the mentioned international project meetings, passed on their insights, knowledge and experience gained through the SIRM project to the participating stakeholders.

Participants of the meeting were informed about the topic of the upcoming international educational meeting to be held in Brindisi, Italy, in the first half of 2024. The theme of the meeting will be 'Adaptation and assimilation programmes and the fight against social isolation of migrants, including informational, psychological, linguistic, cultural, educational and social support'.
