First meeting of Podravje Region's stakeholders
The first meeting of the stakeholders of the Podravje Region took place on 27 October in Maribor.
The event was divided into three sessions: a presentation of INERTWASTE, a focus on the policies and future, and a time for exchanging experiences and views.
The first session aimed at helping participants understand better the project and the current challenges at stake related to inert waste from industrial and construction sectors. It emphasised the role of valorization and the circular economy in addressing inert waste problems.
The session dedicated to policies and future highlighted how the INERTWASTE project contributes to shaping environmental policies and promotes sustainable inert waste management. Participants engaged in discussions about political challenges and explore possibilities for sustainable inert waste management and the reuse of by-products.
To close the event, participants had the possibility to share views and experiences in dealing with inert waste in the construction and industrial sectors.
The event provided an opportunity for an in-depth understanding of inert waste issues, facilitated discussions on sustainable solutions, and enabled the exchange of experiences among experts and stakeholders in this field.
